Energy Basics for Small Business - “Meet the Energy Specialist”

SEDAC research specialist Ben Sliwinski can host training sessions for small businesses on how to evaluate their opportunities to save money by calculating energy quantities, reviewing their bills, completing an energy audit, and assessing technologies available for saving energy.

Energy plays a vital role in business. We rely on it for such things as lighting, heating, cooling, computing, communicating and a multitude of manufacturing processes – energy, with labor, is what gets the job done for American small business.

The Smart Energy Design Assistance Center is offering to provide a luncheon speaker to talk about the basics of energy efficiency for small business owners and operators.

The talk is a condensed version of the SEDAC course “Energy Basics for Small Business” that is available on-line. Topics to be reviewed will include the top twelve methods for saving energy that are applicable to small businesses, things to consider when doing an energy audit, and how to use the free services provided by SEDAC.

Contact SEDAC at 800-214-7954 to request a session in your area.
